Description

Early 19th century symmetrical 2-storey 3-bay house, with
mid 19th century 2-storey asymmetrical house adjoining added
to east. Pink ashlar, addition with contrasting red
dressings. Sash windows with 12-pane glazing. Original house:
(painted) central pilastered doorcase, door with glazed upper
panels and fanlight; continuous 1st floor cill band.
Symmetrically placed stacks, piended roof with platform
extended to link with addition. Addition: south elevation has
2 asymmetrically advanced gabled bays, projecting gable to
east, porch in re-entrant angle with south-facing
Tudor-arched door; low rear wing; saw-toothed skews; corniced
stacks; all roofs slated. Cobbled courtyard and outbuildings
to rear.
