Circa 1820. Very wide dry bridge carrying avenue to
Whittingehame House over narrow road cut below and with
rubble lined banks. Stugged shallow segmental arches.
Width of bridge and short span give tunnel-like effect.
Double lines of lime trees to avenue above were planted
to accompany new house of 1817.
