Description

Built before 1837, on site of Dun Scolpaig. Folly, on small islet in Loch Scolpaig. 2-stage; octagonal-plan; Gothic tower, with pointed openings; now a roofless shell. Rubble-built, with ashlar dressings. South-facing doorway, openings in alternate faces at ground, single window each face of upper stage; string between floors; crenellated

parapet.
