From the workshop of Antonio Bonazza (1698-1763) Italian sculptor. Italianate terraced garden, statue walk and watergarden laid out by Sir Robert Lorimer begun 1897. 19 limestone statues purchased in Milan circa 1900. All the statues are mounted on composition stone plinths. The figure statues include 4 huntsmen, 4 gardeners, 4 fishermen,
7 female figures; all are standing in individual attitudes with a variety of accoutrements.
