Description

Probably built in 1774. Georgian 2 storeys, basement and attic. Harled. Piended slate roof with platform top. High moulded ashlar chimney-heads.

Cornice. Quoins. Projecting central pavilion; pediment. Moulded window architraves. Classical portico (later 19th century); 2 fluted Roman Doric columns; approached by balustrated steps. Area. Polygonal projection at rear. Hall fireplace has date 1774. Interior remodelled in 1900 after fire.

Formerly a seat of Campbells of Glen Saddell, and (South Knapdale) Passed to Macleods c.1391.
