Description

Probably late 18th century. Single span bridge over River Tyne, with large overflow arch set at distance in field to W. Rubble with stugged voussoirs to broad segmental arch with string course above. Low segmental arch in neighbouring field. Parapet over arches and linking stretch, curving on N side to E, and comprised of rubble with droved coping and quasi-dies, in manner common to bridges of East Lothian; polygonal end piers.

Stretching between Saltoun and Pencaitland parishes, and to E of Saltoun Hall North Lodge.
