19th century, comprised of mill with kiln and grain store, of varying dates and picturesquely in block sited on steeply falling ground to River Bladnoch. machinery and water wheel have gone. Rubble, painted white to N, E and W; ashlar cooping to principal skews. Gabled block running N-S.single storey to N, 2-storey to S, containing mill and grain store; shaft opening of former water wheel evident to S with grain store window in gablehead; tall door on higher ground to S, leading to grain store with gablehead window. lean-to additions to E and W elevations with catslide roofs; further gabledaddition running E-W to E elevation, with wide machinery slapping in gable end, brick jambs. Fixed small-pane windows in ruinous condition; stable door to grain store. Graded grey slates to principal roofs, corrugated asbestos to E-W workshop.
The water wheel was apparently removed circa 1960 and the mill is currently largely redundant (1990), partly serving as a store and workshop. The floor to the upper storeys is ruinous in places.
