Description

Dated 1764, with later alterations. 2-storey pair of 2-bay terraced cottages. Paired central doors, No 10 has blocked door to left. To outer bays, single light windows (that to ground left enlarged in 19th century), all sash and case with plate glass glazing. End skew, hefty coped end stack, good slate roof. 2-small skylights. Sandstone ridge. No 9: 2-storey rear extension and lean-tp addition. No 10: former bakery; flat-roofed single storey extension to rear. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

Statement of Interest

Part of Garlieston B group of St Mary Street, Kirkcudbirght. Datestone above doorway. No 9 names "Rossview", No 10 "Craigstone".
