Lowland-type building, possible tacksman's house, mid/late 18th century in appearance, but neglected. 2-storey 3-bay facing NE across Loch to Callanish. Projecting tall and narrow centre gable containing entrance in re-entrant angle, built to accommodate stair; lean-to on SE gable not original. Harled; sash windows mostly now lost; slate roof. To rear, near-centre wall-head stack, asymmetrical fenestration, 2 nearly regular bays, unwindowed left hand at first floor. Attic skylights.
Walled front garden, outbuilding to one side.
Category C(S) only because of condition, for the house would otherwise merit gategory B.
