Early to earlier 19th century. Vehicular bridge over Penkiln Burn; single track, on E-W axis. Single span, with low segmental arch. Rubble. Granite voussoirs and slab coping. Granite abutment to E, natural rock to W.
The bridge is called "Pulgap Bridge" on the OS Maps of 1849 and 1894; it is called "Mattie White's Bridge" on the OS Map of 1907.
