Description

Later 19th century. Single storey, 4-bay (1-2-1) cottage, at end of terrace, now 3 properties. Painted rubble, except paint removed from left half of S elevation.

S ELEVATION: doors in centre bays; modern door to left, boarded door to right, both with letterbox fanlights. Window in outer bays.

E (CREEBRIDGE) ELEVATION: window to right at ground floor. Window to right in gablehead. 2 windows to wing adjoined to right.

W ELEVATION: adjoined to No 4 Reid Terrace (see separate listing).

N ELEVATION: lower gabled wing adjoined to left; blank gable to N; brick lean-to adjoined to right return. Window to right. Gabled brick addition at cente at 1st floor.

4-pane glazing in sash and case windows. Dormer window to right to S pitch. Brick stacks, gablehead to E, below ridge on S pitch to W. Graded grey slates. Several rooflights to S pitch.

Nos 1 and 2 Reid Terrace do not appear to be shown on the OS Map of 1849-50.
