Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Vehicle bridge, carrying A715 over Piltanton Burn; N-S axis. Single span, with low segmental arch.

Rubble. Rubble voussoirs. Red sandstone slab coping. Concrete soffit. Completely reconstructed to E. Curved wingwalls.

Statement of Interest

Piltanton Bridge is marked on the OS Map of 1846-47. Piltanton Bridge has been doubled in width by reconstruction to the E.
