Description

Late 18th century. 2-storey, 2-bay house forming part of irregular terrace. Dry-dashed. Battered base course; concrete cills.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway in bay to right; panelled hardwood door; single window at 1st floor above. Bipartite window with timber mullion at ground in bay to left; single window at 1st floor above.

Small-pane sash and case windows to ground; plate glass sash and case windows to 1st floor. Grey slate roof; partially rendered and brick mutual stack to S; brick coping to gable walls.

OUTBUILDINGS: former stable block (?); single storey with loft; rectangular-plan; rubble whinstone with remains of harling; timber lintels to openings; pitched slated roof with ventilators.

Part of B Group formed by terrace between Craiglea and Twizel House.
