Earlier to mid 19th century, pre 1853. Single storey and attic, gabled cottage. Painted harl with sandstone margins and dressings. Base course; quoin strips; chamfered reveals; raised cills. Projecting eaves; exposed rafters.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3 bays. Door off-centre to right, modern trellised porch over; gabled dormer above. Window to right; broad gabled bay to outer left.
SW ELEVATION: 4 bays, broad gable to outer right, window at ground and at gablehead, upper window smaller. 3 bay single storey wing with 2 gabled dormers, symmetrical.
8-pane sash and case windows (secondary glazing); 4-pane for dormers. Grey slate roof, dormers slate hung. Rendered, coped ridge stacks.
INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
BOUNDARY WALL: rubble wall with semi-circular coping (hedge now grown above wall).
