Description

Later to late 19th century. 2-storey, with 1st floor in attic, house (formerly with commercial/public premises). Squared and snecked whin masonry. Red sandstone ashlar dressings: chamfered arrises and rybated margins; quoins.

N (COMMERICAL STREET) ELEVATION: gabled porch advanced at centre; door to N, with small ashlar panel above; small window to W return. Gabled bay to left, with bipartite window at ground floor and window in gablehead. Pyramidal-roofed block advanced to right, with window to N.

Modern uPVC windows. Red sandstone coped skews and block skewputts. Red sandstone ashlar coped ridge stack. Ashlar ball finial to left gable; leaded ball finial to pyramidal roof. Graded grey slates.
