Early 19th century, possibly incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey, 3-bay traditional farmhouse. Harled with droved raised quoins and stone margins; quoin strips to porch.
NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Centre bay at ground with ball-finialled gabled porch with window, boarded timber door on return to left and further window on return to right, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration close to eaves at 1st floor.
SW ELEVATION: gabled elevation with window in bay to left at ground.
SE (REAR) ELEVATION: variety of elements to altered elevation including broad gabled projection at right and low lean-to bay at left with piended projection at outer left.
NE ELEVATION: gabled bay to right with 2 windows at ground and further window to left at 1st floor; asymmetrical fenestration to lower set-back bays at left.
8-, 9-, 12-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Modern roof covering. Harled stacks with cans and ashlar-coped skews.
ANCILLARY BUILDING: rectangular-plan rubble ancillary with corrugated roof, boarded timber door to SE and small window high up to NW.
WALLED GARDEN AND BOUNDARY WALLS: semicircular-coped rubble walled garden (to W) with segmental-arched entrance to NW. Random rubble boundary walls.
Sundhope lands were once in the ownership of William Wallace.
