Later 19th century. Pair of substantial horizontal mills sited to N and S of stream and connected by stone slab footbridge. Drystone rubble walls. Mills conform to standard arrangement of rectangular gabled drystone rubble building containing upper and lower houses with square openings to inlet and outlet. Roofless (1996).
These mills are substantial examples of their type, and form a striking group next to a bend in the road.
