Description

Early 19th century cottage raised a storey circa 1840/1850.
Also 2 storeys with sunk basement; 3 bays. Stugged red ashlar
with contrasting painted margins and Ionic-columned centre
doorpiece; panelled door with fanlight. Band courses at
former cottage lintel levels. 1 window with modern glazing,
remainder sashes with 12-pane glazing pattern. Slate roof
piended at S; skewed N gable. S elevation asymmetrical;
doubled in width forming No 39 English Street.
