Description

Mid 18th century. 2-storey and attic house over raised basement, 2-bay house. Cherry-pointed squared granite frontage with tooled sandstone dressings, harled pointed rubble return S gable and E front.

Double-leafed raised and fielded panelled door with pend entrance at left; single ground floor window with 12-pane glazing, 2 lst floor windows with plate glass glazing, all timber sash and case.

2 later wallhead dormers in E front; single end stack with moulded cornice; flat skew with run-off stop at W front, crowsteps at E; local slate roof; sandstone ridge. Rubble garden wall.

Nos 2 and 4 Low Street are joined. Garden wall of No 2 shared with No 6 Low Street.
