Description

John Marr, 1764-7. 3-storey, 5-bay block facing Low Street, return single bay to Carmelite Street. Harled, painted ashlar margins. 2 doorways in Low Street frontage with enlarged flanking cafe entrance door; regular lst and 2nd floor fenestration, grouped as 2 and 3 bays. Recessed entrance to No 2 Carmelite Street with single lst and 2nd floor windows; 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Corniced end stacks; slate roof, piended at corner.

INTERIOR: some simple plaster cornices and 6-panelled raised and field doors survive.
