Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, piend-roofed dwelling converted to offices, in irregular terrace to E. Harled with stone margins and quoin strips. Base and eaves courses.
N (NORTH STREET) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Deep-set 2-leaf panelled timber door to centre at ground, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration to 1st floor.
W (MARKET STREET) ELEVATION: blank piend-roofed elevation.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: window to right at each floor, with dog-leg forestair to left leading to timber door at 1st floor.
Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped and shouldered ashlar stack with can.
Formerly listed as '76 North Street'. All window openings to N enlarged. The small square fronting the north (entrance) elevation was the old town centre.
