Description

Probably soon after 1012. Circular 86-3/4' high with later
conical roof, 101-3/4'. Internal diameter tapers from
7-2/3' to 6-7/8' and wall thickness from 4-1/6' to 2-5/6'.
60 irregular courses of reddish-grey sandstone. Internally
7 storeys divided by string courses. 4 apertures at top
floor facing cardinal points. Doorway 6-2/3' from ground.
Inclined jambs with figures of ecclesiastics. Monolith
arched top.

A group with Cathedral. Guardianship Monument.
