Description

1838. John Henderson (Edinburgh). Tudor Gothic. Symmetrical

ashlar faced 2-storey with slim central tower. 3 bays each

side of tower. Square headed 2-light windows. Stone mullions,

and rectangular hood moulds transomed at 1st floor,

lying pane glazing. Crenellated parapet. Door up steps in

tower, slim arched window, clock and 2 tall belfry lights

above. 4 polygonal angle buttresses terminating in pinnacles. Semi-octagonal canted bay - front to south with narrow

bipartites. Flat roof.
