Description

Circa 1830-35. 2-storey villa of asymmetrical Italian
character, basically L plan with square stair tower in
re-entrant angle. Snecked rubble with ashlar dressings,
originally harled. South front advanced 1-window gable on
left, square central 3-storey tower, screen wall with
mutuled cornice on right, glazed coupled - pier pilastrade
verandah with low pitched slated roof with wide bracketed
eaves along tower and screen wall section of frontage.
West elevation has advanced gable with shallow rectangular
tripartite bay on left and ground floor windows with
bracketed cornice on right. Low pitched gablet slated roofs,
with broad bracketted eaves, broad eaved pyramid roof to
tower. Original glazing.
Alcove in west wall of garden: coursers with ashlar margins,
end pilasters and central keyblock.
