Description

Mid Victorian. 2-storey attic and basement, symmetrical
villa, coursed rubble with raised quoins; twin-gabled
3-window front, (2 tripartites centre 1st round arched and
keyblocked,) centre round-arched columned and elaborately
consoled doorpiece with balustraded balcony over; railed
steps; chamfered slightly shouldered openings, decorative
bargeboarding, 2 small shouldered windows in gables at attic
level, centre dormer. Twin gabled S front with 2 canted bays
of two storeys, small venetians above at attic level, similar
treatment. Slated roof, platformed between chimneys.
Single-storey E wing clumsily raised to 2-storey later.
