Description

18th century. Small rectangular roofless lectern dovecot. Long and short ashlar quoins and coped skews, rat course and some stone nesting boxes lining N wall. S wall (original entrance) in poor condition.

Statement of Interest

Although this dovecot is situated on land close to Gedsmill, Niven Robertson connected it with the Colinswell Estate (some distance to the W). The land is now owned by British Aluminium.
