Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay near-symmetrical house of rectangular plan at end of terrace site. Roughcast walls with droved ashlar margins at openings and corners, all painted. Projecting cills.

W (MILLKNOWE ROAD) ELEVATION: paired group centring ground floor of 4-panel timber entrance door with 2-pane fanlight at right, bipartite window above with single windows flanking.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: square 2-storey lean-to projection at centre accessed by curved stone stair with wrought-iron handrail.

Timber sash and case windows, 4-pane except plate glass bipartite window. Grey slate roof, cast-iron gutters and downpipes, roughcast coped apex stacks with circular cans, skew copes.

BOUNDARY WALL: partially roughcast random rubble wall (with modern wrought-iron gate) enclosing garden to street, and flanking drive along S elevation. Cast-iron circular pillar box adjacent to drive entrance.

This house terminates the terrace at 83-103 Millknowe Road (see separate list) and retains most of its original details.
