Circa 1840. 2-storey, 3-bay, symmetrical house in plain classical style. Snecked sandstone rubble to main elevation, otherwise random rubble, dressings broached and droved.
E (FRONT) ELEVATION: advanced central bay with blocking course raised in middle, door 4-panelled with 4-pane fanlight and hoodmould (now within modern glazed lean-to porch), window above; flanked on each side with window to ground and 1st floor.
W (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular and undistinguished, including border- glazed stair window and large piended outshot to N.
N ELEVATION: single 1st floor window to rear.
S ELEVATION: single ground-floor window to rear.
Windows timber sash and case, 12-pane, lying panes. Piended roof in graded grey slates. Ashlar stacks at ends and rear, shouldered, with plain projecting copes and plain cans.
BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble with rubble and ashlar coping.
Originally the Parish Church Manse.
