Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey workshop probably originally
rectangular, now with splayed SE corner. Rubble with long and
short angle quoins and ashlar cills and lintels. Workshop
entrance on splay and loft entrance above. South elevation
has 3 windows at ground and 4 to 1st all with "joiners'
workshop glazing", ie vertical wooden bars and overlapped
small squares of flawed glass. Ground floor windows have
timber panel at base.
North elevation has door to east, 2 ground floor windows and
3 1st floor. All glazed like south elevation except at ground
west where is 12-pane deadlight with timber panel at base.
East elevation has one 8-pane deadlight with timber panel at
face. Slate roof with skews except to splayed corner. Bases
of brick stacks remain.

Statement of Interest

South side abuts on to cottage and north side on to sheds,

neither of which is included in listing.
