Description

Thomas Hyslop Ure (of Dunfermline) 1905. Edwardian
Renaissance, 2 storey, red ashlar front, remainder harled
with stone dressings, 3 window symmetrical centre flanked by
1 window pavilions. N pavilion has couple columned and
segmentally pediment doorpiece and set back clock stage with
diagonal doric columns and domelet. Ground floor partly
channelled. First floor council chamber has segmentally arched
plaster ceiling and Renaissance detail, former ground floor
courtroom now divided.
