Description

Late 18th/early 19th century large house of basement 3
storeys with dormerheads, 5 bay with centre door. Later
flanking rubble wings of basement and 2 storeys, single bay.
Cherry pointed coursed rubble, smooth rusticated quoins,
ashlar margins and dressings. Piended slate roofs, flanking
waisted chimneys to centre block. Later 19th century centre
square projecting porch approached by flight of steps
oversailing basement. Flanking wings have long ground floor
and short 1st floor windows 3 flat roofed dormerheads at
centre block. Modern metal glazing throughout. Ashlar gate
piers with banded ball finials and iron gates. Rubble garden
wall with cope; side gate piers at SE, square with moulded
copes.
