Probably Willam Robertson, 1825-30. 2 storey over raised
basement, 3-bay house. Harled, tooled ashlar margins. Centre
entrance approached by flight of steps with simple handrail
oversailing raised basement; panelled door; plain aprons to
ground and 1st floor front windows; 2-pane glazing. Pair
corniced ridge stacks; piended slate roof.
Low coped wall fronts house; sides and rear enclosed by
rubble wall.
House not on 1825 map, but appears on that of 1832. William
Robertson designed most houses in Seafield Place which he
helped plan. Built for Admiral Sir George Outram.
5 Seafield Place became Free Church Manse circa 1845.
