Description

Hay Bell, architect and builder 1785; walls raised 6' and new roof shortly thereafter following structural failure; battlemented porch Thomas Finlay 1803. Large ashlar rectangle with urns, corbelled eaves course; S elevation of 2 large round arched windows flanked by 4 smaller ones each side; Venetains in gables. 15th century Fernie effigy. Interior refurnished 1882, organ 1892.
