Description

Circa 1930. 2-storey, 5-bay (2-1-2) block of 3 flatted local authority houses. Harled. Base course. Cill course at 1st floor. Gabled dormerheads.

W (ST ANDREW STREET) ELEVATION: painted panel in centre bay, corniced between floors and at eaves; recessed panel above 2-leaf door; bipartite lunette window at 1st floor. Regular fenestration at ground and 1st floor.

N ELEVATION: door at centre; window at 1st floor. Elevation advanced to left with roof swept down. Window at ground floor and dormerheaded window at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: mirror image of N elevation.

E ELEVATION: regulary disposed fenestration.

Plate glass glazing pattern in regrettable replacement windows. Grey slates to steeply piended roof. Harled stacks at centre to N and S pitches.

Forms group with Nos 64-70, 78-82, and 84-90 St Andrew Street (see separate listings); the design is identical to that of Nos 78-82 St Andrew Street.
