Description

W C Joass, 1906. Classical, 2-storey and attic, 4-bay bank
with additional single balustraded screen bays set back each
side. Chanelled ashlar to ground floor, including screens,
polished ashlar 1st floor and dressings. Pedimented entrance
(giving access to rear of bank) in each screen bay; entrance
to banking hall in right outer bay, 3 tall windows in ground
floor, all with moulded and lugged architraves. Deep band
course links screen bays with bank facade between ground and
1st floor; 4 1st floor windows, margined glazing to ground
floor, 2-pane in 1st floor. Deep eaves band; eaves cornice,
wallhead balustrade and 2 flat headed dormers. Hipped and
corniced end stacks; slate roof.
