Statement of Interest

St Michael's Well approx. 200 yards to SW was burgh boundary

in 1832. Reform Act (1832) prohibited property owners

George Gunn, Factor to Sutherland Estates, erected present

wellhead within 7 miles of his residence at Rhives - and

retained his vote.
