Rubble-built single span, steeply humped: inscription on
inside of south parapet: BUILT UPON THE PUBLIC EXPENSE OF THE
SHIRE AD 1735

Statement of Interest

Replacement of bridge blown up by Duke of Argyle 1715. The

mid 19th century replacement of this bridge, formerly of three

arches has been reconstructed.
