Description

Mid 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house with single storey
2-bay cottage absorbed to W. Random rubble; painted margins
with possibly later chamfered arrises on entrance elevation
at ground floor. Panelled door and narrow fanlight. 2nd
window bay of adjoining cottage originally a doorway.
S REAR ELEVATION: windows altered with central stair window.
Piended pantile roof; brick end stacks.
Single storey outbuilding, former cottage, at SW corner of
garden at rear. Gables to N and S with truncated brick
chimney.

Whin-chip pavement immediately by the house; common to Duke

Street.
