Description

Late 19th century. 2-storey and attic terrace of 2 houses.
5-bay with chamfered corner to SE. Snecked sandstone rubble
with cream sandstone ashlar dressings and bands. Rear block
in rubble. Slate roofs.
Decorative doorways with semi-circular keystoned arches
supported on recessed columns with carved floral capitals,
and decorative spandrels. Panelled doors with plate glass
fanlights. Advanced keystones to ground floor windows;
roll-moulding to most front windows, string course below 1st
floor. Full-height canted bay with blind pierced parapet
continuous with main parapet to 1st bay. Curved gables to
1st, 3rd and 5th bays. Stack corbelled from above ground
floor on S return elevation.
