Description

Circa 1865, extended to W in late 19th century,
single-storey jute weaving factory. E elevation: rubble
wall to dressing house with irregularly spaced doors and
windows. Double-pitched slate roof, part re-roofed where
dressing towers were. Brick addition raised above eaves
with blocked hoist and oculi. 4 double-pitched weaving
sheds with slate roofs and N lights, rubble S wall.
Square flat-topped ventilators. Extension to W similar
but with brick walls and metal ventilators. Interior iron
columns and wooden roofs.
