Description

Circa 1845. Small Jacobean villa, 2-storey 3-bay L-plan, harled ashlar. W elevation: central 4-centred arched porch with armorial in gable. Moulded chamfered windows, hoodmoulded and perhaps originally bipartite at ground floor, single-light as 1st with small lancets in gables, centre window recessed with stepped hoodmould and larger lancet in gable. Corniced gable end stacks. Slate roof, sash and case windows. Square section gatepiers with delicate wrought-rion over arch and gas lamp. Low boundary walls to Laurel Bank. High rubble-built walls to sides and rear.
