Later 19th century, 2-storey, rectangular-plan, 10-bay tenement.
Stugged snecked rubble, random rubble at rear, painted ashlar architraves and rusticated quoins, slate roof. Single windows, corbelled and architraved with fleuron lintel decoration, decorative triangular cast-iron window guards at 1st floor; 2-storey canted windows, corniced at 1st floor, piended roof, windows plate-glass and 4-pane sash and case glazing at front, 8-pane at rear; blocked keystoned doorcases with fanlights, segmental at close entrance (no 63); cast-iron rainwater goods with lion head motifs at gutters; corniced ridge and gable stack, corniced and shouldered wallhead stacks (rendered at W gable).
S ELEVATION: 7 bays at left; stair entry at centre, window at ground and 1st floor left and right, door at far right and left, canted windows at outer left and right. 3 bays at right; door at centre, door at ground and 1st floor left, canted window at right, monogrammed heraldic shields at 1st floor over principal doorways,
W ELEVATION: blank.
E ELEVATION: door at centre, window at 1st floor, window at ground and 1st floor left and right.
N ELEVATION: border-glazed bipartite stair window at centre, 2 windows at ground and 1st floor left and right; truncatred brick wallhead stack, 2 rooflights; gable at left adjoining and rising above unlised terrace advanced at left.
INTERIOR: not seen.
ENCLOSING WALL: snecked rubble wall with rounded ashlar coping (railings removed) at S and E, rubble wall with rounded ashlar coping at W.
The decorative cast-iron ggutters and window guards are an important factor in the listing of this tenement.
