Description

J Halliday, architect. Dated 1896. 2-storey 3-bay manse
with Renaissance ornament. Red ashlar with rusticated
angles, quoined at 1st floor. Balustraded square-columned
Ionic porch (round-arched doorway) in shallow advanced
pilastered and pedimented inner bay, canted ground floor
windows with channelled angles and architraved lights; 1st
floor bipartites; string between floors; eaves course;
bracketted cornice; end stacks; piended slate roof.
2-bay flanks; rear wing.
