Description

Built probably first half 18th century; much altered in
19th century. Single storey and attic; 3 bays, the outer
bays shallow advanced, left bay 2 storey with pend door,
and pedimented; right bay with late 19th century bipartite
and roof swept over; single pyramidal-roofed square
pavilion to left with rusticated quoins probably originally
part of No 127 Irish Street, adjoining. Rendered, with
painted ashlar margins and architraves. Late 19th century
pedimented door and window to inner bay; modern box dormer
over. Corniced brick end stacks; slate roofs. Additions to
rear (W).

Statement of Interest

1st ed OS suggests that Nos 119-127 Irish Street (now Skyline

Hotel) formerly had 2 square pavilions.
