Description

Early 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey and attic house

with shop at ground on corner site. Render lined as ashlar, stugged to E, with ashlar dressings.

E (GOLDEN SQUARE) ELEVATION: 2-bay, flanked by pilaster strips. 3-bay shopfront at ground with stop-chamfered arrises; shop windows flank central door; fascia above. Pair of windows at 1st floor. Central bipartite attic window breaking eaves with pedimented dormerhead, bracketed cills and ball finial.

N (NORTH STREET) ELEVATION: blank gable to left; 3 irregular bays to right. Deep-set panelled door at centre, flanked by windows; 2 windows to 1st floor; piend-roofed canted timber dormer.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; brick apex stack with ashlar base.
