Description

Mid-late 18th century, 2-storey house with 3 irregular
bays; formerly divided into 2 dwellings with doorway and
shopfront to right. Painted harl and margins adjoining 1
and 4 The Square. Door with simple doorpiece to right
of centre in 2nd bay, windows flanking; bipartite with
stone mullion to right. 3 windows to 1st floor close under
eaves.
Plate glass to sash and case windows.
Grey slates, straight mutual skew and renewed brick
stack to E.
Low rubble ashlar coped retaining wall.

Statement of Interest

Shopfront removed recently (1989); bipartite replacing door

and shop window.
