Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay town house with basement, forming part of a terrace of 9 houses. Cream sandstone, tooled ashlar with polished dressings, coursed rubble to rear and side. Cill course to ground and 1st floor windows; dentilled eaves cornice with blocking course; ground floor windows architraved and corniced.

SW (FRONT) ELEVATION: doorway to outer left bay, Ionic columned doorpiece with dentilled cornice, replacement door and rectangular plate glass fanlight; single window to 1st floor above. Single windows to remaining bays. Rectangular bipartite dormer to centre.

NE (REAR) ELEVATION: single windows; wallhead stack to outer right.

NW ELEVATION: blank gable with apex stack removed.

Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. Slate roof with lead flashings; 1 wallhead stack (see above), mutual stack to NW.

INTERIOR: not seen 1993.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND RAILINGS: low boundary wall to front, some original railings.
