Description

Robert Muirhead, nos 16-28 1884, nos 11-15 1888-89.
4-storey blocks stepped in slope, similar in character to
nos 1-8 but with different detail. Each has continuous
podium of ground floor shops with cornice and blocking
course, mostly altered except at nos 16-21, central stone
arched and keyblocked doorpieces to flats above; upper
frontages ashlar, 2 windows alterrated with 2 canted bays,
cornices over 1st floor windows, 3rd floor belt and cill
courses, main cornice and slated roof.
