Statement of Interest

A pair of good plain classical houses, substantially unaltered. Gilmore Place was built from the W towards the E. The site is still shown as a rope walk on the 1853 OS map; 1877 OS map shows the terrace complete; Nos 26 and 28 formed the end of the terrace until the rope walk was moved to the N.
