W (PRINCIPAL): ELEVATION: regularly fenestrated; window and doors architraves channelled, with square panels at corners. Timber panelled doors with fanlight above (rectangular at No 5, umbrella at No 6); dentilled cornice over. Modern garage and 1st floor extension to right. Extension with stair to left.
Plate glass in timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Rebuilt wallhead stacks with circular cans.
BOUNDARY WALL: low, stone coped, coursed rubble wall to front.
Nos 1-9 Laverockbank Road are part of the very first 'suburban' development at Trinity (built on the grounds of Laverockbank House), as opposed to the first generation country 'cottages' (some of which were, of course, very grand indeed).
